Four old hands. Four with liver spots. Three with rings. Two with nail polish. Slowly sliding one hand over the other in his lap. Like lapping waves. Hand sandwiches.

What do you call that game? Where you put your hand on someone else’s, and then they put their other hand on your hand which is atop their hand, and then you put your free hand on top of all three hands, and then they slide their bottom hand out to the top of the pile, and this continues at a faster and faster pace until it becomes an uncoordinated mess of flesh moving at a very high rate and sometimes you get a hard slap and it hurts? Is it just called Slaps?

This old couple is playing Slaps. But they are not going faster and faster. They are going slower and slower.
